Interior Designer Paula Caravelli's NYC Apartment

The quirky splashes of colour, the art, the play on scale, the inventiveness... really enjoying this find on New York Social Diary. The two Regency chairs and Chinese style brass coffee table in the last image were Salvation Army finds - goes to show that style isn't always expensive.

Blog love.. Colour Collective

I'm having a very big fashion interiors moment. I think it is so clever how this blog is able to create a colour palette from everything and anything. The idea of taking an image you love and breaking it down into a yummy colour palette that resonates within you and using that as a base for a workable interior colour scheme is just brilliant.

Inspiring pic to get the juices flowing again...

As my friend Josh subtly reminded me on Friday night, it has been too long between posts. Please forgive me, my mind has been elsewhere but I'm back and promise to post lots of lovelies over the next few days/weeks/months/years. Here is a gorgeous pic that my eyes can't stop floating over from calligraphy blog, Love Jenna. And Josh... a subtle reminder to you to BECOME A FOLLOWER OF MY BLOG!!

Garlands for Grown Ups (and the secretly French)

I'm totally a sucker for French is best... I mean, where else in the world could you get away with making garlands as beautifully chic as these. I tell you, if I were making them, they'd look like a pre-school project disaster. I know it drives my boyfriend mad because he has this strange belief that all girls harbour a secret fantasy to be French (what's so wrong with that, oui oui?). Sophie Cuvelier is the master genius behind these designs. Check out her glorious website here. I'm definitely picking up a garland or two when next in Paris (my birthright city).

And those pants... and it's my blog, so I can.

I can see a rainbow....

This may just be the silver lining to all this rain we're having in Sydney.
